Who were Marcellus & Cassian?
In 298 A.D. in Tangier, Morocco, a Roman centurion named Marcellus removed his military belt, weapons, and vine staff (his symbol of authority) and declared during a celebration of the emperors: “I am a soldier of Jesus Christ, the eternal king. From now on I cease to serve your emperors and I despise the worship of your gods of wood and stone, for they are deaf and dumb images.”
His peers arrested and imprisoned him and the governor, Fortunatus heard of the matter and called upon Marcellus to tell him what occurred on that fateful day.
Marcellus said, “On 21 July, when you were celebrating the emperor’s feast day, I declared publicly and openly that I was a Christian and said that I could not serve under this military oath, but only for Christ Jesus, the son of God the Father Almighty.” … continued

After Jesus:
Discover the Holy Spirit
Before Jesus left the Earth, He left a pivotal commandment for His believers. If they waited in Jerusalem, they would receive power when the Father’s promise came upon them. So, after He ascended to Heaven, one hundred and twenty believers gathered in a room and waited.
The Holy Spirit is not a force or power—He is a person and one of the Trinity. In fact, Jesus described Him as the one who would come after Him and accompany believers on Earth and beyond. As Jesus helped believers on Earth for three years, the Holy Spirit would come and be their Helper forever. Who is this Helper who came after Jesus and why did Jesus command believers to receive Him? Using Scriptures as the guide, After Jesus gives you an introduction to who He is and what His role is in your life today.
